EZNEC Demo at TDXS Meeting held Thursday, April 8, 2018, presented by Rick Hiller W5RH. Skip navigation. Antenna Modeling a Modified Dipole with EZNEC 6+ (#207) - Duration: 26:57. W8IO, Antenna Modeling, LPCAD, NEC. NEC Model Library The following files and links point to NEC/AO/YO models of various Ham antennas that I have simulated and/or tested over the past 30 years as an antenna designer.
My interest in antenna modeling has always been casual, needing it when an upgrade to my antenna system was needed. As its been 7 years since I've done so, I surveyed the available software again and found EZNEC 5.0 and 4NEC2 as the major players in terms of up to date software. Starting EZNEC Modeling 3 CTU, Dayton, 2011 The EZNEC 1 software, created and marketed by Roy Lewallen, W7EL, can be obtained from www.eznec.com. The package comes with a number of example models, and there is an extensive indexed Help ©2 facility with information on all aspects of the program. Antenna descriptions and pattern plots are easily saved and recalled for future analysis. Multiple patterns can be superimposed on a single graph for comparison. See the pattern and antenna currents on the same color 3-D display as the antenna. Rotate the antenna display and zoom in for details. Want to make a change? EZNEC makes it simple.

AutoEZ is a new Excel application that works in conjunction with the
EZNEC antenna modeling program. You can use variables to control
diverse aspects of the model and then run multiple EZNEC test cases
while automatically changing one or more variables between runs. AutoEZ
can take full advantage of all the features new to EZNEC v. 5.0 such as
virtual wires, realistic transmission lines with loss, transformers, L
networks (which can be combined to form T and Pi networks), and parallel
connected loads. An overview of what AutoEZ is all about may be found
